Tell Bearadise Ranch Show to Stop Forcing Bears to Do Tricks!

Bears are complex animals whose instincts require them to climb, dig, forage, walk long distances, and build nests. But the Welde family, which owns Bearadise Ranch, carts them across the country for its traveling show, Bears of Bearadise Ranch, in cramped transport cages and forces them to perform tricks that have no meaning to them. In the show, bears are forced to ride scooters, carry a basketball while walking on their hind legs, balance on balls, and pull hoops over their heads.

Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus shut down after 146 years, Cole Bros. Circus no longer tours, and Kelly Miller and Ramos Bros. circuses ended their wild-animal acts—it’s never been clearer that the public is against the use of animals for entertainment. Please join PETA in urging the Weldes to allow these bears to live the way they’re meant to—removed from tractor trailers and free from the stress and health risks associated with being exhibited in shows, both on the road and at Bearadise Ranch.
