Animals Anally, Vaginally Electrocuted for Fur

UN LAB Middleware Label: Title Ends

These Companies Condone the Industry’s Cruelty by Allowing Users to Buy and Sell Fur Products

When we’re having fun shopping online for cute new fits, the last thing we want to see is a dead animal’s fur being offered for sale. But if you’re browsing through Depop’s, Mercari’s, or Poshmark’s websites, this is exactly what you could be in for—people perpetuating the cruel fur industry by selling and buying animals’ fur. 😱

We can’t let these companies enable their users to keep supporting the fur industry. Help us get Depop, Mercari, and Poshmark to help prevent animals from living and dying in agony by banning the sale of fur! 🦝 🦊 🐰

Why Is the Fur Industry So Bad?

No matter where fur comes from, it always involves extreme suffering. Every year, about 100 million animals are killed for their fur. 😧 They might have been raised on a fur farm where they were forced to spend their entire lives in cramped, filthy cages and killed by electrocution, gassing, or some other horrific method. PETA videos have even exposed that they’re sometimes skinned alive.

Others might have been caught in nature by barbaric traps that slam down on their legs and cut to the bone, crush their necks, or drown them. Imagine being locked up your entire life and violently killed or getting caught in a trap and slowly dying as you thrash to free yourself—all for a coat, a trinket, or trim that could have easily been made with vegan materials. 😢

Why Should These Sites Ban Fur?

Here’s what Depop, Mercari, and Poshmark need to know: Fur is a product of cruelty to animals and shouldn’t be seen as anything else. By allowing people to sell it, they’re sending the message that wearing it is acceptable. All fur comes from an animal who suffered and endured an awful death.

Take Action!

These companies can make a difference by banning the sale of fur and encouraging users to donate old furs to their local wildlife rehabilitation center or animal shelter—W’s all around. Animals would get the freedom they deserve, the companies would get a glowing rep among their young users, and those in need would get much-needed warmth and comfort. 🥰

Please politely urge the companies to ban the sale of fur on their platforms and urge their users to donate unsold fur instead:
