We’ve exposed Farmer Focus as a company that slaughters about 600k chickens per week and markets their dead bodies to you as “humane”—urge The Fresh Market to rethink its ties with the brand! 🐔

Whistleblowers have claimed that, at Farmer Focus’ contract farms and slaughterhouse, cruel handling leaves chickens with high injury rates, and botched killings put them through long, painful deaths. Yet the company hides behind seals of approval from “humane” and “animal welfare” certifiers, Humane Farm Animal Care (HFAC) and Global Animal Partnership (GAP), which don’t actually prevent the suffering that chickens killed for food go through. 😒
