Help get Friendly’s to be actually friendly to cows and the dairy-free squad—tell the company to offer vegan ice cream!

Every scoop of dairy-based ice cream is hiding something—and it’s not sweet. The dairy industry forcibly impregnates cows to produce milk meant for their babies, who are ripped from them just hours after birth. Heartbroken cows are hooked up to milk machines several times per day until they’ve been drained of milk, and they’re eventually slaughtered.

The good news? Delicious, rich, creamy vegan ice cream helps end this cycle of abuse. 🙏 It’s made from ingredients like nuts, oats, and soy—none of which come from a thinking, feeling animal who wants to stay with her babies. More and more spots across the country have added fire vegan options, and customers are loving them. It’s time for Friendly’s to start serving cow-friendly scoops, too.

A growing number of customers are seeking treats that don’t come from intelligent, sensitive cows who endure repeated forced pregnancies, heartbreaking separation from their calves, and other cruel industry-standard practices. Vegan ice cream would give people who want to avoid these issues a way to enjoy dessert at Friendly’s without compromising their values.

Vegan options also meet the needs of guests with lactose intolerance and dairy allergies, and they’re better for the environment. With the vegan ice-cream market valued at more than $800 million and projected to nearly double by 2032, it’s clear that demand is strong. Stores and brands like Cold Stone, Ben & Jerry’s, Breyers, Van Leeuwen, Baskin-Robbins and many more already offer vegan ice cream.
