Should rabbits suffer, bleed, and die for a hat? 🐰 Ask almost anyone, and it’s an instant “no”— but ask clothing company Kangol execs, and they’ll try to hide under their angora wool hats.

PETA asked these execs to sell only rabbit-free hats, and they accidentally copied us on their internal “crisis PR” strategy: “do nothing unless it escalates.” 🤯 Once you watch this angora vid, you’ll know it’s time to escalate to the max.

Footage that PETA Asia got from several angora wool factory farms in China shows that workers tightly tied rabbits’ legs and recklessly shaved off their hair as the animals froze in fear. This violent process happens every few months until they die from injury, illness, or are slaughtered.

This is what Kangol execs are choosing to ignore. 😡

Their “do nothing” plan is deadly for rabbits—but if we make enough noise, they’ll be forced to act. Please urge the company to ban the use of angora!

I was shocked to learn that Kangol continues to sell angora wool hats despite knowing how terribly rabbits suffer and your plan “to do nothing” unless pressure escalates. Rabbits don’t get the luxury of waiting. Their agony escalates every day in the angora wool trade until they die.

Rabbits are highly sensitive animals and they suffer tremendously in the angora industry. Workers tie their limbs, pin them down or hang them up, and shave off their hair. Some rabbits are so overwhelmed by fear that they go into shock. Some are left with bloody wounds. This violent process happens every few months until they die from injury, illness, or are slaughtered when the quality of their hair declines.

More than 425 brands have banned angora because they’ve come to the conclusion that angora wool can never be cruelty-free. As long as you sell angora, you’re funding the suffering and deaths of rabbits.

Please, stop selling angora immediately so that no rabbit suffers for your products.
