The Iditarod Kills Dogs—But These Companies Still Sponsor the Race

UN LAB Middleware Label: Title Ends

Forcing dogs to pull a sled until they inhale their own vomit and die should NOT be an event. 🙅 If you agree, help end the Iditarod!

Over 150 dogs have died since Alaska’s 1,000-mile Iditarod race started, and too many more to count have died during the off-season while chained up or were killed because they couldn't run fast enough. The dogs are forced to run about 100 miles a day for around 10 days through blinding snowstorms and freezing temps. 🥶 Some have frozen to death, and others have been strangled by towlines, had heart attacks, or died from internal bleeding.

Many companies—including Coca-Cola, Costco, Nestlé, Pizza Hut, and Safeway—have already cut ties with this death race, but we can’t rest until the total number of sponsors is 0. 🗣️

Please urge Alaskan Brewing Company and Northern Air Cargo to rethink their future sponsorship of this abusive race!
