Dolphins Imprisoned and Forced to Perform at Resorts—Help Them!

UN LAB Middleware Label: Title Ends

Some tourists think that dolphins used for swim encounters (like this dolphin 👇) are “smiling” and “happy”.

But would you be happy if you were torn away from your home and family or bred in a tiny prison? Would you be smiling if you couldn’t escape attacks from other frustrated prisoners and were forced to perform tricks for people’s entertainment? Ofc not—so just think about how dolphins, who are naturally talkative and need open waters, feel in cramped lagoons at resorts. 😢

Please send polite comments to Nicholas Kuhns, General Manager of Hilton Waikoloa Village, at [email protected], urging the resort to stop offering cruel “swim with dolphins” encounters and to not permit the breeding or acquisition of more animals on their premises.
